About the Owners
So Many Pins, So Little Time..
Rachel Jenkins: Graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design from San Jacinto College in 2004. She worked in Residential Design for Architecture and Interior Design firms, planning, researching, and selecting various aspects of client homes. Although currently retired from interior design, she’s a full-time mom of a young daughter. Rachel enjoys traveling the world and has an eye for architecture. She loves putting design elements such as colors and textures together. Rachel and Randy are members of Woodlands Church for over 12 years.
Randy Jenkins: Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from the University of Houston in 1993 and 2003, respectively. Randy has worked in Aerospace and the Oil & Gas industry. He has held positions in Design engineering, project management and proposal manager. Randy enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. When he has a chance, he enjoys working on old cars, woodworking, and trail bike riding.
Marla Meriano: Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology from the University of Houston in 1998. Rachel worked for JCPenney as a Catalog Inventory Analyst in Women’s Shoes with an annual inventory budget of $25,000,000. She graduated with a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration in 2008, and a teacher and administrator in Crosby ISD and Humble ISD for the past 13 years. She is a mother of two grown daughters and enjoys scrapbooking and crafting.
Paul Meriano: Graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. Interned for and held my first full time engineering job as a project engineer for Solvay Polymers. Currently, a Senior Project Manager with Praxair, Inc. installing industrial projects in excess of $135,000,000. Paul has been married 33 years and had the privilege of raising 2 daughters. He’s a Mustang Car enthusiast and enjoy all types of motorized vehicles from trains to planes. Paul also enjoys woodworking and home remodeling (he works in The Woodlands!).
Meghan Meriano: Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Houston in 2015. As a Commissioned Officer in the United States Navy she has served onboard USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) from ‘15-’17 as the Electrical Officer and she is currently stationed on PCU TRIPOLI (LHA 7) as the Auxiliaries Officer. She has two dogs and enjoys creating, from woodworking to glass etching.
Jenkins & Meriano Connection: Randy and Paul have been friends since college. Meghan at age 5 was the flower girl for Randy and Rachel’s wedding. The two families have enjoyed traveling together and hanging out. They wanted to invest in something that both families could enjoy and contribute to its’ success.
